After hearing good things about Shuka, a friend and I dropped by this classy Mediterranean restaurant with good vibes. Food was good - the dips (labne and whipped feta) were the best parts of our meal. We tried the fried halloumi which was tasty, but definitely couldn't beat the flavor of our dips. I'd say it is worth a try, but I personally won't come back craving it. The grilled zucchini dish was plated nicely, but felt lackluster in portion size and flavor. Overall a good nice Mediterranean spot - we came at night so unfortunately it was a bit loud, but we left full and satisfied with our dinner.

CUTE, COZY, & DELICIOUS!!!! Omg you guys seriously, everything from the service (thank you Adam and Diana) to the ambience and quality of food: it's one of the best meals I've had in a while. Got falafel, the salad and the whipped feta pistachio dip that was a company with fluffy pita bread .... I wanna come back.

Went to Shuka just before catching a movie at Angelika's. The ambiance in the restaurant was good and I thought their interior decor was really nice! I think the food itself was good but nothing special. Their feta and pistachio dip was delicious and something I haven't had before, so that was my favorite item on the menu. The steak and lamb kebabs were good but nothing that blew my mind. Service was great, our waitress was really nice and attentive, and kept our pita basket full!

A trendy spot for Mediterranean eats tucked into the West Village -- I'm obsessed with this spot. The ambiance is really nice and we were seated in a bright, airy space. The servers were attentive, friendly and made great recommendations. The menu has a ton of small plates that are perfect for sharing -- I appreciated that they had a lot of vegetarian options. Every single thing I had here was delicious but my standouts were the Whipped Feta and Fried Halloumi. I'll be back soon to work my way through all of the dips!
